Aletha Health The Set Review
Updated June 2026 with my 1-month review · First tested April 2025 · 2 videos
If you get out of bed and need a few steps before you can stand up straight, this is the set. A few minutes on the Mark and the Orbit in the morning and my low back pain is gone, and that alone makes it worth it. The catch is it hurts at first, and it takes a few tries to find the right spot.

Buy it if
- Buy it if your low back is stiff every morning.
- Buy it if you sit in a car or at a desk for hours and your hips lock up.
- Buy it if foam rollers and lacrosse balls never got deep enough.
- Buy it if your neck and traps are always tight.
Skip it if
- Skip it if you want relief without learning any technique.
- Skip it if you can't handle a few minutes of a good kind of hurt.
"I'll come down to my gym and I'll use these two tools and that pain is gone. And so for that alone, that makes all of this worth it."Me, at the 1-month mark

Before you buy
What I don't love
It hurts at first
Once I put my full weight on the Mark, holy smokes, that hurt. A good hurt, but you'll feel it.
There's a learning curve
My first time I wasn't sure I had it positioned right. Their how-to videos on the website fixed that.
Start with the Orbit
I jumped straight to the Mark. I probably should've started with the Orbit ball, like they tell you to.
The band is just a band
It's well made and fabric, but it feels a lot like other hip bands on the market.

Is it worth picking up? Yep.
How I use the Mark and the Orbit for morning low back pain, the neck tool for my traps and neck, and the how-to section on their site.

Trying every tool for the first time
What's in the set and my unfiltered first try on each tool. My neck felt incredible after one use.
Questions I get
What's in the set?
The Mark hip hook, the Orbit ball, a neck and trap tool with three widths, a hip resistance band, and the book Tight Hip, Twisted Core by Christine Koth, the physical therapist who invented the Mark.
How do you use the Mark?
Put it inside your hip bone, lay on it, and breathe for 60 to 90 seconds. Then push down on the handle so it rotates into the iliacus. Do two or three spots on each hip.
Which tool should I start with?
If you're really tight, start with the Orbit ball. I went straight to the Mark and wish I hadn't.
Does it help neck pain?
For me, yes. I've taken a lot of bumps in 20 years of wrestling, and the neck tool made a world of difference in the tightness in my neck.
Is there help learning it?
Yes. Aletha's website has step-by-step how-to videos for each tool, a pain quiz, and they launched an app.
