Privacy Policy
This page explains what information bigmikebehrens.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: I track how people use the site so I can make it better, I keep your email only if you give it to me, and I never sell your information.
What I collect
Site visits. I use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, how they found the site, and which links they click. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects things like your browser, device, rough location (city level) and the pages you visit. It does not tell me who you are.
Your email, if you sign up. When you sign up for my reviews email, a guide or a challenge, your name and email go to Mailchimp, the service I use to send email. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Emails you send me. If you email me through the contact page, I keep that email so I can answer it.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including Amazon, Xendurance and other brands I review. When you click one, that store may set its own cookie so it knows the sale came from me. That is how I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those stores' own privacy policies cover what they collect.
Videos and fonts
Review pages show my YouTube videos and the site uses Google Fonts. YouTube and Google may collect basic information when those load. The site itself is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs.
What I don't do
I don't sell, rent or trade your information. I don't run ad networks on this site.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can unsubscribe from my emails any time. To ask what I have on you, or to have your email deleted, write to mike@bigmikebehrens.com.
Kids
This site is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
