Yosuda 001C Exercise Bike Review
Updated September 2026 First look · Tested September 2026 · 1 video
This is the bike for a house where everybody's going to ride it, from a 6'5" guy to the rest of the family. It's smooth, it adjusts every direction that matters, and it didn't flex under me. The catch is the pedal cages. They're too small for my feet and a fight to get into. First impressions only. I'll tell you how it holds up once I've used it longer.

Buy it if
- Buy it if more than one person in your house is going to ride it.
- Buy it if you're a bigger guy who wants a bike that doesn't feel flimsy.
- Buy it if you want to just get on and ride, with no app and nothing to charge.
- Buy it if you want cardio for the mornings the garage is too cold.
Skip it if
- Skip it if you want numbered resistance levels you can repeat.
- Skip it if you're near 300 lbs, until the listing settles on one weight limit.
- Skip it if you have big feet and want the pedal cages to just work.
Before you buy
What I don't love
Pedal cages
Too small for my feet and a fight to get into. They loosened up a little, not enough. I'm going to try taking them off.
Two weight limits
The listing says 300 lbs in one spot and 350 in another, on the same page. I can't tell you which is right.
No flywheel weight
It isn't published anywhere. The ride was smooth, but I'd rather have the number.
No numbered levels
It's one knob, so you can't dial in the exact same setting twice.

Next I'm putting both Yosudas side by side after more time on them.

Solid under 280 lbs. The pedals aren't.
I build it and ride it. It's smooth and it didn't creak or flex under me, but the pedal cages are too small for my feet.
Questions I get
What's the weight limit?
The listing gives two answers, 300 and 350 lbs. I rode it at 270 to 280 and it felt solid, but I can't tell you which number is real.
Is it hard to put together?
No. It shows up mostly built, it's a one person job and the tools are in the box. Put the wheels on the front, not the back.
Which pedal is reverse threaded?
The left one. Check the L and R stamped on them before you turn anything.
Does it need an app?
No. The monitor runs on two AA batteries that come in the box and shows time, speed, distance and calories.
