PRx Powder Coated Cast Iron Kettlebells Review
Updated September 2026 with my 6-month review · First tested July 2025 · 3 videos
I've got big hands, and a lot of kettlebells pinch them on cleans. These don't. The handle is big enough that I don't think about it, and after six months they look brand new. The catch is your wrists. My dad likes them, but his wrists are worn out and he reaches for dumbbells instead.

Buy it if
- Buy it if cheap kettlebells pinch your hands on cleans.
- Buy it if you want swings, carries and presses without another rack attachment.
- Buy it if you want iron that looks the same in twenty years as it did on day one.
- Buy it if you like seeing both kilograms and pounds on the bell.
Skip it if
- Skip it if your wrists are beat up. Try one before you buy three.
- Skip it if you already own a full dumbbell set and don't care about swings or cleans.
- Skip it if you need to know the exact handle diameter, because PRx doesn't publish it.
"What I like about them is that the handle is big enough for my hands. I have large hands, so these don't feel cramped."Me, at the 6-month mark

Before you buy
What I don't love
Hard on worn-out wrists
My dad likes them, but controlling the bell puts a strain on his wrists. He'd rather grab dumbbells. That's a fit problem, not a quality problem, but it's real.
No handle diameter listed
The handle is the whole reason to pick one kettlebell over another, and PRx doesn't publish the number anywhere. I can tell you it fits a big hand. I can't give you a measurement.
Pricey by the pound
Kettlebells always cost more per pound than plates. These are no different.

Big hands, worn-out wrists
How they held up after six months at my dad's place, why the handle works for my hands, and why he still reaches for dumbbells.

Questions I get
Are PRx kettlebells good for big hands?
Yes. That's what I was checking for. My hands fit through the handle comfortably and they don't feel cramped.
What's the handle diameter?
PRx doesn't publish it. That's the one spec missing from the listing.
Are kettlebells hard on your wrists?
They can be. My dad's wrists are worn out and controlling the bell bothers him. If yours are beat up, try one before you buy a set.
What sizes do they come in?
4 kg up to 24 kg. When I checked PRx's site on September 17, 2026, that ran $24.99 to $99.99.
How did they hold up after six months?
Nothing happened to them, and that's the right answer. They're solid iron. It's hard to mess up a kettlebell.
