Everymate 5 Bar Rotating Barbell Holder Review
Updated September 2026 First look · Tested September 2026 · 1 video
If more than one person in your house trains and your bars live in a pile, this fixes the real problem. Spin it, the bar you want comes to the front, and it lifts straight out. The catch is it spins rougher with only one bar in it, and Everymate doesn't publish what the base weighs, which is the thing keeping it upright. These are just my first impressions. I'll tell you how it holds up once I've used it longer.

Buy it if
- Buy it if you've got three to five bars leaning in a corner.
- Buy it if more than one person in your house uses the gym.
- Buy it if you can't or won't drill into your walls.
- Buy it if digging out the bar in the back is your real complaint.
Skip it if
- Skip it if you only own two bars. A fixed holder does the job for less.
- Skip it if you have the corner for Everymate's 10 bar rotating version. Same spin, more slots.
- Skip it if floor space is your tightest spot. The fixed 6 bar holder takes a lot less.
Before you buy
What I don't love
Rough when nearly empty
With one bar in it, it doesn't spin as well. Add a couple more bars and it smooths out.
No published weight
Nothing bolts down, so the weight of the base is what keeps it standing. Everymate doesn't list it anywhere.
The listing disagrees on size
One spot says 16.9 by 16.9 inches, another says 11.48 by 16.9. Plan around the bigger number.

Newest on top.
Next I'm going to weigh it and load it all the way up to see if it tips. I'll add that here.

Spin it, grab it, done
I unbox it, load my three bars, and find out how it spins with one bar versus three.
Questions I get
Does it really rotate 360 degrees?
Yes, on ball bearings, and it turned well right out of the box. It spins better loaded than nearly empty.
Does it need assembly?
Practically none. It shows up built. Slide the four rubber feet on and you're done.
What's the weight capacity?
Everymate lists 500 lbs across all five slots. I didn't load it anywhere near that.
Will my bars fit under my ceiling?
Check first. A 7 foot 2 inch bar standing in an 11.5 inch base puts the top around 8 feet 1 inch.
Should I get the 10 bar instead?
If you've got the corner for it, yes. Same mechanism, more slots, better price per slot. The 5 bar only wins on floor space.
