Xendurance Joint-4 Review
Updated January 2024 with my January 2024 overview · First covered December 2022 · 2 videos
My score: 4.5 out of 5
If sore joints are slowing you down, this is the joint supplement I point people to. It has four ingredients where most joint formulas stop at two or three. My parents take it every day, and my dad called me a month after he quit to say he needed to get back on it. The catch is these are product overviews, not my own long-term test, and the first 30 days is six pills a day.

Buy it if
- Buy it if sore joints are getting in the way of your workouts.
- Buy it if your current joint formula only has one or two ingredients.
- Buy it if you want a joint product that's been around for over 20 years.
- Buy it if you want something that's Informed Sport certified.
Skip it if
- Skip it if you don't want to take six pills a day for the first month.
- Skip it if you want my own long-term results. These videos walk through the product.

Before you buy
What I don't love
Six pills a day to start
Xendurance says three in the morning and three at night for the first 30 days. You can skip that, it just takes a little longer to notice.
No long-term test on camera
Both videos are product overviews. My parents are the proof, not a test I ran on myself.
Reviews aren't results
The testimonials on the Xendurance site are other people's stories. Don't buy it expecting the same.

Four ingredients, not two
A walk through the Joint-4 page: the four ingredients, the 30-day starting dose, and why my parents won't quit it.

The quick version
A short clip I made as a Xendurance team leader. What Joint-4 is and who it's for.
Questions I get
What's in it?
Four ingredients: glucosamine, chondroitin, boswellia and MSM. Most joint formulas only have two, maybe three.
How do I take it?
Xendurance says three in the morning and three at night for the first 30 days. After that, drop to three a day.
Do I have to do six a day at the start?
No, that's fine. It's just going to take a little longer to notice a difference.
Where did it come from?
The founder of Xendurance was an Olympic bobsledder with bad joints. He made it for himself, and it's what the company was started on over 20 years ago.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Xendurance has a 60-day money back guarantee.

The long version
My full Xendurance Joint-4 review
Who Joint-4 is for
Joint-4 is the Xendurance joint supplement. It's for active people whose joints are getting in the way of the workouts and activities they want to be doing.
It's the joint product I point people to. I'll tell you up front that my proof is my parents, not a test I ran on myself.
Four ingredients where most have two or three
The name tells you the idea. There are four ingredients in it: glucosamine, chondroitin, boswellia and MSM. Most other joint formulas have one or two, maybe three.
Like the rest of the Xendurance line, Xendurance says those ingredients are in research dosages, meaning enough of each one to actually do something.
The simple way I explain it is that it helps grease the wheels, so you can keep moving. It's also Informed Sport certified.
Where it came from
This is actually the product Xendurance was founded on. The founder was an Olympic bobsledder with beat up joints, and he made it for himself.
It's been around for over 20 years. For a supplement, that's a long time to stay on the shelf.
My parents won't quit it
In over ten years of helping people with supplements, two people stick out in my mind with this product, and that's my parents. They both take it every single day, and they swear by it.
My dad started taking it, and then just to be sure, he got off of it for a little while. About a month later he called me and said, "Mike, I need to get back on that Joint-4." True story.
How you take it
Xendurance says to take three in the morning and three in the evening for the first 30 days. After that you scale back to a maintenance dose of three pills a day.
If you don't want to do six a day at the start, that's fine. It's just going to take a little longer to notice a difference.
The catches
Six pills a day for the first month is a lot of pills. That's the one that turns people off.
The other is on me. Both of my videos are product overviews, one a short clip from 2022 when I was a Xendurance team leader and one a longer walk through the product page from 2024. Neither is a long-term test of my own.
And the reviews on the Xendurance site are other people's stories. Don't buy it expecting the exact same thing to happen for you.
Who should buy it
If sore joints are slowing you down and your current joint formula only has one or two ingredients, this is the one I'd try. My dad going back to it on his own tells me more than any label does.
Xendurance has a 60-day money back guarantee, which gets you through the first 30 days at the higher dose and a month past it. If six pills a day is a deal breaker, skip it.
