Saint Life Eyewear Review

Updated April 2024 with my first look · First tested April 2024 · 1 video

My takeBest for Lifters who hate flashy shades

I'm not a flashy sunglasses guy, so I asked for simple black, and that's what showed up. The sport pair is light with a no-slip grip and nose piece, and the casual pair feels heavier and better built than the cheap workout shades I used to wear. The catch is this is a first look on a rainy day, not months of wear.

Buy it if

  • Buy them if you want sunglasses that stay put while you train.
  • Buy them if you want simple, clean frames instead of loud colors.
  • Buy them if your cheap workout shades feel flimsy.

Skip it if

  • Skip them if you just want throwaway sunglasses for the gym bag.
  • Skip them if you want to know how they hold up long term. This is a first look.
"I told Jason, I'm not a flashy sunglasses kind of guy."
Me, opening the box

Before you buy

What I don't love

First look only

I opened them, tried them on and took them outside on a rainy day. That's not enough sun to give them a full test.

I couldn't tell you the model names

Jason didn't pick up when I called mid-video, so I can't tell you exactly which models I have. One is the sport pair, one is the casual pair.

Opening the box from my buddy

My raw reaction to a sport pair and a casual pair, how they compare to the cheap shades I used to wear, and a quick rainy-day test outside.

Questions I get

Who makes Saint Life Eyewear?

Jason St. Clair, a good friend of mine I met through Xendurance back in 2017.

What's the difference between the sport and casual pairs?

The sport pair is lighter with a no-slip grip and a different nose piece. The casual pair has more heft and feels more like an everyday pair.

Are they better than cheap workout sunglasses?

They feel better built and less rubbery than the pair I used before. My wife said they feel heavier duty.

How much are they?

When I checked in October 2026, most pairs ran $65 to $95.
