Everymate Leg Extension & Curl Rack Attachment Review
Updated September 2026 with my follow-up review · First tested November 2025 · 2 videos
If you already own a squat rack and don't have the floor for a leg machine, this gets you leg extensions and leg curls back. It felt solid on my rack with weight on it, and when you're done it comes off. The catch is it's not a quick swap. It has to be wrenched down tight, and there's no seat, so you're sitting on a box or bench behind the rack.

Buy it if
- Buy it if you already own a squat rack and have no floor left for a machine.
- Buy it if you've been rigging up cables and an ankle strap to fake leg curls.
- Buy it if leg extensions help your knees feel better, like they do mine.
- Buy it if you're fine leaving it on for a whole leg day instead of swapping it between sets.
Skip it if
- Skip it if your rack doesn't have 1 inch holes. Measure before you order.
- Skip it if you want something you can pop on and off between sets.
- Skip it if you have the floor for the full Everymate machine and want a real seat.

Before you buy
What I don't love
No seat
There's no seat in the box. I sat on a box behind the rack and it worked, but I'm going to have to invest in something better back there.
Not a quick swap
It needs to be tight against the rack, so keep a wrench handy. Taking it off was easier than I expected, but you're not swapping it in mid-workout.
Check your hole size
Per the listing it only fits 1 inch rack holes, and Amazon buries that detail. Measure your upright before you buy.
A little narrow
It's a bit narrow. That didn't bother me, but bigger guys should know going in.

Better than a leg machine?
I come back to it and weigh it against Everymate's full leg machine, including the seat problem and the rack hole size.

Bolted it to my Rogue rack
I unbox it, mount it on my folding Rogue rack, try extensions and curls with weight, and see how long it takes to pull it off and put it back.
Questions I get
Will it fit my squat rack?
The listing says it only fits uprights with 1 inch holes, and that's easy to miss on Amazon. Measure yours before you order.
Do I need a bench or a box?
For leg extensions, yes. There's no seat. I used a box behind the rack. Leg curls you can do standing up.
How hard is it to take on and off?
Not bad. Get the washers off and it slides right out. Putting it back means lining up the holes and tightening it with a wrench, so it's not a between-sets swap.
Will it work for a tall guy?
I'm 6'5" and it worked for me. The bottom pad has different slots so you can set it to your height.
How much weight does it hold?
Everymate lists 600 lbs. I haven't come close to testing that and I'm not going to.
