Tru Grit Reaper Bike: Initial Review and Assembly

An air bike doesn’t lie. It tells you exactly what you’ve got left, every single ride. I put the Tru Grit Reaper Bike together from the box and took it for its first real test to see if it earns a spot in the home gym lineup.

I’m Big Mike - 23-year pro wrestler, husband, and father of three girls. I don’t review gear I haven’t sweat on myself.

UNBOXING AND BASE ASSEMBLY

The Reaper showed up well packaged and ready to build. Base assembly is the foundation of the whole bike, so I took my time getting it right before moving on.

SEAT, HANDLEBAR, AND FOOT REST INSTALL

From there it’s seat install, handlebar install, and foot rest and pedal install. Straightforward stages, nothing that should slow a man down in his garage.

MONITOR AND FINAL ASSEMBLY

Monitor mount, water bottle holder, and the build is complete. No wasted parts, no confusion on where anything goes.

FIRST RIDE AND TESTING THE RESISTANCE

I climbed on for the first ride and pushed into the resistance to see what this bike is made of. The variable magnetic resistance is the differentiator here - it puts the Reaper head and shoulders above a standard air bike. Quick-adjust seat made it easy to dial in fit before moving it into place in the gym.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The Tru Grit Reaper Bike assembles clean and the resistance system is the real deal. For a man who wants conditioning work that doesn’t get stale, this bike delivers.

A man who trains hard needs equipment that keeps up with him. The Reaper earns its place.
