FULL TRANSCRIPT
All right, so I just got a shipment the other day of the new focus from Xendurance, which is blood orange flavor. I have been drinking focus from Xendurance for a few years. The product was launched back in 2020. They got three flavors. My favorite right now is dragon fruit. I don't like the tropical sunshine at all and then the watermelon is actually pretty good.
I just don't drink it as consistently because it's a little too sweet. The blood orange is one that I'm excited about because I'm thinking maybe it'll be a replacement for my daily drink of the dragon fruit, although I might still stick with the dragon fruit. We'll see. So anyway, we're going to try this and see what it tastes like for the first time.
Now. I did purchase these myself X endurance did not send them to me. So you're going to get a brutally honest review of what this product tastes like. I love the product. The product itself works great. I just don't know if this flavor is going to be for me yet. If you want to know more about what the product does, check the link in the description to see a breakdown of the focus and how it's going to help you perform better.
It's basically an energy drink slash pre-workout that can help you with your performance. My order came with this cool little sticker with Daniel Brandon on it. Xendurance did a promotion with her in a kill Bill outfit. So the yellow with the black stripe, cutting up some blood oranges. So it's kind of a cool little promotion to launch the product and introduce it on the bag.
It actually has some little blood spots, which is kind of neat. I mean, it's a little silly, but it's kind of neat to have on the bag. All right, so let's mix this up and see what it tastes like. I've got eight ounces of water in this shaker bottle with a few ice cubes. So I'm going to put it in there because I like to drink things cold.
So let's open it up. This is the first time I'm opening this up to get a smell for it.
Crack it open. Ooh, I like that smell. It smells like an orange, but almost like a I don't know what. Like the. There's a hint of almost like a creamsicle orange. Almost the smell. But the smell doesn't always mean that it's going to taste exactly like that. So let's see what it tastes like. So here's a scoop. Man, that does smell good.
Let's put it in there. See what.
There. Shake it up.
Blood orange. Looks like a blood orange in there. It's definitely not orange. It's more more red. All right, here we go.
Ooh, yeah, I like that.
It's not over powering with the orange. You know, like, sometimes with the like, if you drink an orange soda or something like that, it just really kick you in the teeth with the orange. This is a very light orange flavor and drinks doesn't overly sweeten their products. I think this has this has got two grams of sugar in it, so it's not overly flavored.
Two grams of cane sugar, it's a monk fruit extract as a little bit of a sweetener, and then some stevia leaf extract. Now it tastes pretty good. Yeah, it does leave a hint of the orange flavor in your mouth, so I like that it's not a bad orange aftertaste. It's not overly citrusy. It doesn't have, a real punch like that.
It has more of a sweet flavor. The blood orange. I honestly can't say I've ever had a blood orange. I don't know what a blood orange tastes like, so maybe this is very comparable to a blood orange. It's definitely not just a straight up orange, though, so it's not like a, orange drink that you're going to think of.
Or a carbonated drink with orange, but it does have a hint of the orange citrus in it. And I.
Yeah, I would say it's it's way better than the tropical sunshine by far. I think I like this better than the watermelon. Two I'm might have to try it a few more times to see if I like it better than the dragonfruit or not, but the dragonfruit. You know, I got a soft spot in my heart for the dragonfruit.
I still got to give it some more time because I really liked the watermelon when it first came out, but over time it was too much and I just couldn't do it consistently. So I'm I'm a little concerned that this might be similar. I'm not blown away by it. It's good. But I'm not like, wow, this is amazing.
You know, like it's it's pretty good. I would definitely recommend it to someone who likes orange. If you like orange drinks, if you like orange pre-workout or orange energy drinks or anything like that, then you'll probably like this. The true test for me with this is going to be using it consistently for the next month, so I'll give you an update on it after I use it for the next month.
And if it's going to be my daily driver moving forward, if it replaces the dragonfruit, the product just works. So it's good. It's got same ingredients, nothing changes, different flavor. So it's definitely going to give you benefit. And if you like the flavor, this is going to be a great purchase for you if you want to check it out I have an affiliate link in the description.
